Activity 3: Contribution of teacher inquiry topics to my communities of practice. This definition for Communities of Practice I think best sums up my experiences with it, “groups of people who share a concern, a set of problems, or a passion about a topic, and who deepen their knowledge and expertise in this area by interaction on an ongoing basis” (Wenger, McDermott & Snyder, 2002, p.4). This definition for me made me realise that I am involved in a number of Communities of Practice and it helped me to identify the communities of practice that relate to my professional practice.
